Incarceration & Reentry Support

Eligibility For Reentry Support

A strong reentry program must be clear about who qualifies. Yaya’s Reentry Center’s eligibility requirements are designed to align placement with the early transition window after incarceration.

18 or older

Legally authorized to reside in the United States

Released from incarceration within the past 30 days

Demonstrated need for transitional housing

Participation in intake and assessment

Agreement to comply with program rules and case management requirements

The organization serves recently incarcerated individuals and people on probation or parole. Veterans are also included in the target populations served. There are no gender restrictions.

A stable transitional housing community requires consistent expectations. Yaya’s Reentry Center operates in a structured, accountability-based environment designed to promote stability and growth.

Residents are required to:

  • Follow a curfew and daily schedule

  • Participate in case management and required programs

  • Engage in employment, education, or workforce training

  • Attend mental health or recovery services if recommended

  • Maintain sobriety with zero tolerance for drugs or alcohol

  • Respect staff, peers, and facility property

The goal of these rules is not punishment. The goal is a disciplined environment that supports success and helps reduce recidivis
